US2 Achieves ESCO Certification, Strengthening Federal Energy Solutions
US2 is proud to announce its official certification as an Energy Service Company (ESCO), marking a significant milestone in the firm’s long-standing commitment to delivering energy-efficient solutions for Federal facilities. ESCO certification—recognized and overseen by the U.S. Department of Energy—verifies that a company has the technical, financial, and managerial capabilities required to develop and implement comprehensive energy projects under Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs).
Fewer than a dozen Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) nationwide hold ESCO certification, placing US2 among an elite group uniquely qualified to support Federal agencies in reducing energy consumption, modernizing aging infrastructure, and improving system reliability without requiring upfront capital.
As an ESCO, US2 can provide Federal clients with turnkey, performance-based energy solutions that include energy audits, system design, installation, commissioning, measurement and verification, and long-term maintenance. These offerings help agencies lower utility costs, enhance facility resilience, and meet Federal energy mandates—all while improving the health, comfort, and safety of the occupants they serve.
Achieving ESCO certification reinforces US2’s mission to deliver high-value, energy-efficient, and mission-focused solutions for its partners across the Federal government.
