Utility Systems Solutions, Inc. (US2), in partnership with Southland Energy, announced that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded the team a new Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC). The award places the US2–Southland team among a select group of four SDVOSB–large business teams chosen to support the VA through this nationwide energy and infrastructure program.
Through this contract, US2 and Southland Energy will be positioned to help VA medical centers across the country meet mandated energy reduction and resilience goals, strengthen vital infrastructure, and enhance energy security. The ESPC program is designed not only to reduce energy consumption and improve facility performance, but also to elevate the quality of care and comfort for veterans and their families in VA hospitals and medical campuses nationwide.
